Henry Cavill is opening up about how fame and having devoted fans has affected his relationships.
The 34-year-old Justice League actor, who is currently dating stuntwoman Lucy Cork, told The Rake that he loves his fan-base, but he doesn’t appreciate when they claim ownership over his life.
“There is obviously a flip-side to [fame], too: as soon as I get into a relationship, a slew of hate, directed at me as well as the girl, saying that ‘I’ve changed,’” Henry said.
“I haven’t changed a bit. But you have to take all of that in your stride, there are positive and negative parts to all of it, but ultimately it is enormously flattering to have people care that much. As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone in my life, it is a good thing. As soon as it starts to affect people in my life, that’s when I draw back.”

Who will be the next James Bond? Latest odds on Tom Hardy, Aidan Turner and Michael Fassbender as bets roll in
THE SUN
By Hannah Shaw
7th March 2017, 10:57 am Updated: 7th March 2017, 11:31 am
The contest to play James Bond is still anyone’s game with a number of suave men in the running.
While Aidan Turner has been the bookies favourite for quite some time, he is currently being pipped to the post by Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender.
Sun Bets are currently taking bets on over 50 male actors to take on the role of James Bond as Daniel Craig’s replacement.
The favourite is currently split between Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender, who both have odds of 11/4.
Trailing behind are War & Peace’s James Norton, Poldark’s Aidan Turner and Luther’s Idris Elba, but what are their chances?
Who’s in the running for the next Bond?
Tom Hardy
Tom Hardy has fuelled the rumour mill by staying quiet when questioned on the role
Age: 39
Sun Bets odds: 11/4
Where do we know him from? Actor Tom Hardy is no stranger to the big screen having appeared recently in Mad Max: Fury Road, The Revenant and Legend.
The British actor has recently appeared in the BBC series Taboo and has fuelled Bond rumours after refusing to comment on whether he would like to take over from Daniel Craig, for fear of jinxing his chance.
Michael Fassbender
Michael Fassbender made his Alien debut in the 2012 prequel, Prometheus
Age: 39
Sun Bets odds: 11/4
Where do we know him from? Fans may recognise Fassbender from 2012 film Prometheus, and the star has hit the big screen again with his role in Assassin’s Creed.
Sun Bets place the actor’s odds at 20/1, however in an interview with GQ Fassbender said: “As an acting role, I think Daniel has done such a cracking job in this age group.
“I think the franchise needs something new.”
James Norton
James Norton made an impression on viewers during his stint on BBCs Happy Valley
Age: 31
Sun Bets odds: 7/2
Where do we know him from? Norton has an impressive accolade of TV credits behind him.
Viewers may recognise James from BBC’s Happy Valley, where he played the role of Tommy Lee Royce.
James has also starred in Granchester, Black Mirror and War & Peace.
Aidan Turner
Aidan has become a sex symbol thanks to his topless action in Poldark
Age: 33
Sun Bets odds: 4/1
Where do we know him from? Most viewers will recognise Aidan as heartthrob Ross Poldark.
Aidan started his career on stage but soon found fame on the big screen after appearing in The Hobbit trilogy.
The 33 year old took the lead in Bond odds back in August, however refused to comment on the rumours at MCM Expo.

Henry Cavill is on the mend — and looking good while doing it!
The actor, 33, is currently rehabbing a knee injury while training for The Durell Challenge, a 13k road race held in the Channel Islands in May.
Cavill has been sharing a series of selfie videos from his workouts to document his recovery and training. On Saturday, Cavill did a swimming workout in his “lucky hat” while jamming out to Toby Keith’s “Big Ol’ Truck.”
“Rehabbing my knee and training for The Durrell Challenge at the same time,” he captioned the video. “By the end of this I think I might be ready for the first ever deep-sea marathon.

Superman Henry Cavill’s teenage girlfriend Tara gets the bullet
BIZ ON SUNDAY
THE SUN
From LAURA ARMSTRONG and EMMA BRANKIN’s Biz on Sunday column
SUPERMAN star HENRY CAVILL has split with his teenage girlfriend – just weeks after gushing that she “protects him” when the world “gets too heavy”.
In one cringey interview, Henry went on to say that student Tara King will “happily take that weight” for him despite the large age gap.
But we can reveal that less than two months later, Henry has decided to brave the weight of the world on his own and broken up with the 19-year-old.
And sources close to the pretty blonde told us she is devastated by the sudden break-up.
Tara told friends she thought the Man of Steel actor, who turned 33 earlier this month, was “the love of her life”.
One told us: “Henry and Tara have split — it is official.

Man of Steel 2 Update: Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill to return for sequel; Snyder reveals idea for twist ending

LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 22: Henry Cavill arrives for the European Premiere of 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' at Odeon Leicester Square on March 22, 2016 in London, England(Photo : Mike Marsland/Getty Images)
Apart from his appearance in the first two DCEU films, many are wondering whether Superman will be back for Man of Steel 2. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, Director Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill expressed their interest in making the film.
Snyder said that they would love to make the sequel if a good script is developed for the sequel. "I think if we could get a good script it would be great to have a standalone Superman movie. I think that would be fun to do." Snyder said. As reported by Screen Crush, he also added that part of the reason they haven't announced Man of Steel 2 is to support the events in the recently released Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Henry Cavill new James Bond: Superman actor being groomed as the next 007?
CHRISTIAN TODAY
Snooky Grawls 27 June 2015

It is that time once again for Ian Fleming's James Bond character where the search for a new actor to play 007 is up in the air.
Daniel Craig is the current one portraying the British Super Spy and word around is that the one likely to succeed him is Henry Cavill.
Should Cavill indeed be blessed of taking over from Craig, it will mark the first time that an actor with high regard would be chosen to play the role.
Previous actors who took on the role of 007 were virtual unknowns. In fact, portraying James Bond was seen as a springboard for their career.
Among the actors who previously played James Bond include Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Craig.
So will Cavill be up to the task?
For the record, Cavill had auditioned for the role before. This was back in 2005 when he tried out together with Daniel Craig. At that time, producers felt he was too young for the role (he was only 22 years old at the time) so Craig eventually got the part.
After 10 years and Cavill having a following of his own, all that has changed. He has the age and most importantly the looks that James Bond had always been associated with, a lady's man if you will.
So does this make him a shoe-in to be the next 007?
While that remains up in the air, Cavill is set to debut in another remake – The Man from U.N.C.L.E which is set to debut this coming August. The upcoming film may somehow help critics if Cavill is fit to be the next James Bond, being a spy-themed movie.

Henry Cavill - VIDEO: The incredible official Batman V Superman trailer is here
SUNDAY EXPRESS
By STEFAN KYRIAZIS
PUBLISHED: 19:57, Sat, Apr 18, 2015

Hackers really are the bane of the entertainment industry.
No sooner has some spoilsport leaked the first four episodes on the new series of Game of Thrones, than a grainy pirated copy of the Batman V Superman trailer hit the internet.
In response, the filmmakers had no choice but to release the official trailer days earlier than anticipated.
Fans have been scrambling to get their first glimpse of Ben Affleck as Batman taking on Henry Cavill’s Superman in 2016’s biggest blockbuster. And things are not looking good for Clark Kent. He may have saved the world from the evil plans of General Zod, but Superman still isn’t exactly getting a hero’s welcome.
This is post-modern superhero territory, after all. Now you are just as likely to be seen as a threat than as a saviour.
Conflicting voices argue that he is trying to help or that he is out of control and bring up the age-old quote, ‘Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.’
There is a Messianic image of Superman floating and backlit by the sun before rising chants of “Go home, go home, go home” accompany an image of a fallen statue scrawled with the words, “FALSE GOD.”

Henry Cavill to Star in Simon West’s Thriller Stratton
COMINGSOON.COM
BY MAX EVRY ON FEBRUARY 25, 2015

SCREEN DAILY reports that noted action director Simon West (Con Air, The Expendables 2) will direct Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) in Stratton, which will shoot in the UK and Italy this summer.
The special forces thriller will feature Cavill as the title character John Stratton tracking down an international terrorist cell. The film is based on the first in a series of eight novels by pseudonymous author Duncan Falconer, an ex-SBS (Special Boat Service) commando.
“I’ve long wanted to tell a story about the British Special Forces and finally the opportunity has come around,” Cavill said. “Duncan Falconer’s work is fantastic and we are incredibly fortunate to be working with him so closely. We plan to convert the books to cinema as accurately as possible while keeping them topical. Simon West is a perfect match for this movie with his ability to marry story-telling and action, both of which are essential to do this project justice!”
West stated, “I have been looking for an opportunity to establish a new UK based action character for some time and Stratton fits the bill perfectly. The greatest challenge was always going to be who can play a character like that and bring depth and realism. I have followed Henry Cavill’s work for while now and I cannot imagine a better actor to take on this role. Henry is the reason this project is now possible.”

Henry Cavill & Armie Hammer in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Sneak Peek
PEOPLE MAGAZINE
BY DANA ROSE FALCONE @DanaRoseFalcone 02/11/2015 AT 11:00 AM EST
Henry Cavill ditches his Superman suit for a sleek tux in this summer's silver-screen adaptation of the 1960s TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The Man of Steel actor calls the film, which is directed by Guy Ritchie, "a cool, sexy and especially not heavy Cold War spy thriller."
Cavill, 31, stars as CIA agent Napoleon Solo alongside Armie Hammer, who plays KGB agent Illya Kuryakin. The two put aside their longstanding hostilities to stop a mysterious international criminal organization and prevent worldwide catastrophe.
Anna Karenina's Alicia Vikander takes the lead female spot as the daughter of a mysteriously vanished German scientist who helps Cavill and Hammer's characters infiltrate the international criminal organization. Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby) joins the cast as Victoria Vinciguerra, the driving force behind a worldwide shipping company with a questionable past.

And Hugh Grant takes on the role of Waverly, the head of the U.N.C.L.E. (United Network Command for Law and Enforcement) organization.
"They're both wonderful people and a pleasure to work with," Cavill says of Hammer and Grant, whom he enjoyed joking around with on set. "Any funny stories I'm going to keep to myself, though. No telling tales out of school."
The film displays some of the era's most distinct fashions, designed by Oscar-nominated Joanna Johnston.
Cavill says the film's unique style helped him get into character, adding that "it's very defining" to act in costume.
Still, his favorite part was working with Ritchie.

Our Night Out With Tom Hiddleston, Henry Cavill Emilia Fox And Natalie Dormer At The BAFTA Gala Dinner
IN STYLE

We hung out with some very dishy Brits in black tie last night - including Tom Hiddleston, Kit Harrington, Freddie Fox and Henry Cavill - at the very first BAFTA Gala Dinner, in aid of BAFTA's Give Something Back campaign. Freddie Fox arrived arm-in-arm with big sister Emilia, who was wearing a floor-length scarlet Temperley London dress, while a very dapper-looking Tom Hiddleston swept in and caught up with friend Edith Bowman. We also spotted Game Of Thrones stars Kit Harrington and Natalie Dormer, who was looking gorgeous in a black ballgown.
The night began with a champagne and canapé reception in the bar upstairs, before guests headed down for a three-course dinner of (delicious) smoked salmon tartare, cumin and coriander rump of lamb and chocolate tart. After dinner the live charity auction began where some of the more deep-pocketed guests bid on a range of treats.
The list of prizes included a photo shoot with top photographer Greg Williams (who had come to the event with his new girlfriend, designer Alice Temperley), a private preview screening for 60 people of the new Bond film Spectre and dinner with Colin Firth and Damien Lewis (this one went for £12 000 - sadly a little out of our budget). Also up for grabs was a private tour of Downton Abbey and a week-long retreat at a villa in Palm Springs. Tom Hiddleston gamely kicked off the action by bidding £2000 for a portrait from Greg Williams, but lost out in the end to a higher offer. By the end of the night £250 000 had been raised. That's a lot of very generous bidding.

Superman scared of flying? Well, why else would Man of Steel star Henry Cavill have an emotional support dog at the airport
DAILY MAIL

(I personally can think of one more - to keep stupid reporters away - but I digress - K. Wasylowski)
Superman can famously fly faster than a speeding bullet – but the British actor who plays the superhero needs an ‘emotional support dog’ to board a plane.
Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill, 31, was seen arriving for a flight at Los Angeles’ LAX airport last week with his dog, which was wearing a vest with the words ‘Working. Do not pet. Emotional Support Dog’ emblazoned on it.
Under a unique US Department of Transportation rule, passengers are allowed to take their dogs on flights if they have a doctor’s letter stating the animal ‘is necessary to their mental health or treatment’.

Henry Cavill Fans Defend Superman and New Girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo; Man Of Steel Actor Still Mum About New Relationship(Photo : Keith Tsuji | Getty Images Entertainment)
Superman Henry Cavill and his camp are still mum about the controversy surrounding him and his new girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo despite his many fans expressing their desire for the gorgeous actor to speak up.
While every Cavill fan knew that the Man of Steel actor is usually very private when it comes to his romantic relationships, he cannot just pretend that everything is going well between him and his legions of fans when it comes to the new apple of his eye.
We may not know exactly his reasons for choosing to keep quiet, but as long as he is with Gonzalo, now even more famous for being dubbed as "animal killer," we are guessing this issue will not come off anytime soon. After all, Cavill is one of Hollywood's A-list actors, so much is expected from him, and that includes his choices on women, sad to say.
However, not all of his fans feel the same way as some still support the Immortals actor and are coming to his defense. One fan even challenged Save the Animals asking for proof if Cavill's relationship with Gonzalo is true.

Did Henry Cavill's Girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo Plan Everything To Hook Up With 'Superman?'
FRANCHISE HERALD
Dec 16, 2014 10:56 AM EST | By Josh Samuel

"Man of Steel" Henry Cavill's new relationship has been the subject of scrutiny as of late. His new girlfriend 21-year old Marisa Gonzalo from Detroit has been dubbed as "animal killer" as she was known for hunting and killing wild animals as a hobby, and proudly posting it on her Facebook page.
Many fans of Cavill were very disappointed as a result because it's incomprehensible how an animal lover and animal rights activist, who even has his own organization called Cavill Conservation, will date someone who is his complete opposite.
One portion of the foundation's website even says: "If you care about extinction, love animals and think protecting the planet is important, then we have all of the above in common."
But wait, that is just one part of the story. Recent reports have been circulating that Cavill's new girl had planned every meeting with Cavill right from the start, just to hook up with the A-list celebrity, how true is this? According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, animal hunter Gonzalo has "stalked" the Immortals actor at the gym they both went to. She may have done everything until she got noticed by the hunk actor until they got to hang out together.
Moreover, when the 2 started officially dating, Gonzalo wasted no time making sure the public finds out. Gonzalo, now being tagged as "famewhore," kept posting pictures of her and Cavill together, specifically during Thanksgiving Dinner, when Cavill spent time with her at Detroit, along with her family. Incidentally, our Man of Steel is known for being private with his romantic relationships, but it seems like he does not have anything in common with his new flame as Gonzalo always seem to strike the wrong cord, which all the more irritates Cavill's fans.

Henry Cavill Has A New Girlfriend & Her Extracurricular Activities Are Shocking!
PEREZ HILTON
The actor's latest rumored lady love, Marisa Gonzalo, is a 21-year-old who likes to hunt animals in her spare time.
What's curious about this new pairing is the fact that Henry is a staunch animal rights activist, with his own animal conservation foundation, Cavill Conservation.
In the about portion of the foundation's website, it says:
"If you care about extinction, love animals and think protecting the planet is important, then we have all of the above in common."
Well, if that's true, then the Batman VS Superman star may want to reconsider his new romance!
Gonzalo is a proud and avid hunter who has an affinity for posting very GRAPHIC pics of her conquests to Twitter.

Henry Cavill done shooting 'Batman vs Superman,' says being Superman is hard
CHRISTIAN TODAY
Published 20 November 2014 |

Clark Kent is a free man. Henry Cavill has completed filming his parts in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" and is now free to do whatever he wants. Unfortunately, this could mean that Cavill won't be heading down to New Mexico to film other parts of the movie. Sorry, New Mexico.
How does Cavill feel about completing his scenes in the movie? In an interview with Chicago Tribune, Cavill pointed out what hard work it is to be Superman.
"It was very difficult work. It was very physically demanding. You can't just sit in the harness and expect it to do all the work. You're not going to look like you're flying. You have to pay attention to what your feet and legs are doing. It's like dancing," Cavill said.
Director Zack Snyder and his team are packing up from Detroit and Chicago and are now moving to New Mexico where sets have been built already. According to Tech Times, since Cavill has already finished his scenes, it could mean that "Dawn of Justice" production is nearing completion. Well, it makes total sense.

Henry Cavill Defends Detroit During Royal Marines Run In Gibraltar
INQUISITR
October 28, 2014

British actor Henry Cavill has called Detroit, Michigan home for the past six months and for the first time is talking about his experience in the Motor City. Cavill was in Gibraltar to participate in a run for a Royal Marines charity, an organization that provides assistance to past and present service members.
Taking a break from filming the Zack Snyder blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Henry flew to Europe to participate in the Royal Marines 350th Anniversary Rock Run, climbing the massive Gibraltar staple. As always, the Brit has been spotted in several fan photos posted all over social media.
One of the actor’s many fansites, Henry Cavill News, sat down with the 31-year-old during his time in Gibraltar and asked him about his time in Detroit and what he really thinks about the place he’s called home for so many months.
“There are so many horror stories about Detroit, and Michigan, and none of them are true. I’ve really enjoyed it, actually.”
This is Henry Cavill’s second time visiting Detroit in the past few years. The actor, who played Superman/Clark Kent in Man of Steel is reprising his role, this time to face another superhero, Batman, played by Ben Affleck, who has also praised and promoted Detroit.
