A Newly Single Henry Cavill Turns Heads at Heathrow Airport

Start lining up ladies, because Henry Cavill is a single man once again.

The Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice actor has broken up with girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo after only a few months of dating.

Cavill and Gonzalo were first linked as a couple shortly after the Man of Steel actor broke things off with longtime love Gina Carano in December 2014. According to E!, the Hollywood hunk and Carano first started dating in September 2012 but ended things by the summer of 2013.

Superman scared of flying? Well, why else would Man of Steel star Henry Cavill have an emotional support dog at the airport

Super dog! Henry Cavill was seen arriving for a flight out of Los Angeles’ LAX airport last week with his dog (pictured)

(I personally can think of one more - to keep stupid reporters away - but I digress - K. Wasylowski)

Superman can famously fly faster than a speeding bullet – but the British actor who plays the superhero needs an ‘emotional support dog’ to board a plane.

Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill, 31, was seen arriving for a flight at Los Angeles’ LAX airport last week with his dog, which was wearing a vest with the words ‘Working. Do not pet. Emotional Support Dog’ emblazoned on it.

Under a unique US Department of Transportation rule, passengers are allowed to take their dogs on flights if they have a doctor’s letter stating the animal ‘is necessary to their mental health or treatment’.

Despite his superhero role, it seems the 31-year-old British actor needs an ‘emotional support’ to board a plane

Watch Henry Cavill Meet One Of The World’s Rarest Tortoise [Video]

Henry Cavill at Durrell conservation

Henry Cavill plays Superman in the 2016 movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so you may be interested to see how he reacts when coming face to face with Madagascar’s Ploughshare Tortoise. The video, shared by the charity, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, of which the actor is an ambassador, shows the cute meeting.

When Cavill was on break from filming the Man of Steel sequel, he returned to his home in Jersey, in the U.K. and took the time to embark in a couple of worthy causes. One of them was the Durrell Wildlife Conservation trust, which he visited while he was in England.

On their website, the organization talks about how cool it was to have Henry as a guest in early August and how enthusiastic he was about the work they do on behalf of endangered species.

“Henry might be an actor by trade, but the infectious energy he brought with him – and the sheer happiness we saw when he met our animals – was 100 percent real.”

“That’s the thing; to a person, everyone at Durrell – from Volunteer to Director – is here because they love animals, and care about the fate of those species that need human help, if they aren’t to become extinct. It turns out that we have a soul mate in Hollywood, and his name is Henry!”

Henry Cavill Gives Man From U.N.C.L.E. Cast and Crew Challenge Coins As Production Wraps 1

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill has apparently given a number of production workers on his just-wrapped (we assume) film The Man From U.N.C.L.E. commemorative "Challenge Coins," and one of the recipients posted an image of the coin, and the note that accompanied it, to the Internet, where it was picked up by HenryCavill.org, a fan-news site.

You can see the image above.

From Wikipedia: A challenge coin is a small coin or medallion (usually military but, as in this case, not necessarily), bearing an organization’s insignia or emblem and carried by the organization’s members. Traditionally, they are given to prove membership when challenged and to enhance morale. In addition, they are also collected by service members. In practice, challenge coins are normally presented by unit commanders in recognition of special achievement by a member of the unit. They are also exchanged in recognition of visits to an organization.

When James Gunn recently distributed them to members of the U.S. military during a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy, we noted that organizations often use the coins in a drinking game: a challenger presents their coin, prompting other members of the organization to do so as well. If all members have their coin on their person, the challenger has to buy a round of drinks. If someone fails to present one, they have to buy

Henry Cavill: ‘Batman V Superman’ Will See Superman Answer For ‘Man Of Steel’ Destruction [SPOILERS]

INQUISITOR
August 23, 2014

It appears Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will address the much talked about destruction Superman laid on Metropolis following an epic battle with General Zod. Director Zack Snyder — who is at the helm of both films — was heavily criticized for the final scene of Man of Steel, which showed a city in ruins and turned off many fans.

If you remember, Superman (Henry Cavill) has finally had it with the vicious General Zod (Michael Shannon) and doesn’t hold back when the two meet in Metropolis, and the villain tries to destroy all that Superman holds dear, including his mother, Martha Kent (Diane Lane). An epic battle ensues and nobody is spared; buildings are destroyed and glass is shattered as the two superhumans fight it out.

Some spoilers may follow, so beware before you continue to read.

According to Batman News, the Washington, D.C. scene we will see in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directly related to the havoc brought on by Superman’s fury. This is how the website describes the insider info they have:

“A major action scene was shot in July in one of the big studios in Detroit. Without giving too much away…it involves Superman and the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C. Superman will have to answer for what happened at the end of Man of Steel. Half the public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn’t for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth.”
