With the announcement of all the films showing at the Toronto International Film Festival over the last couple of weeks, we have seen a huge amount of images appearing featuring British movies and stars and we have pulled them all together for you. We feature Rachel Weisz, Ewan Mcgregor, Orlando Bloom (plus the rest of the brit-packed cast from The Three Musketeers), Jude Law and a ton of other great films and actors. We even have some more cool on-set footage from The Dark Knight Rises featuring Christian Bale and Tom Hardy.
Based on what I have seen in the trailer the latest adaption of Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel The Three Musketeers is all about the action, stunts and blowing things up, it looks like a lot of fun! The latest images once again highlight the Brit (and Irish) packed cast, with The Three Musketeers being played by Luke Evans (Immortals) Matthew Macfadyen (Spooks/MI5) & Ray Stevenson (TV’s Rome). Juno Temple (The Dark Night Rises) has been cast as Queen Anne and Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings) will play the bad guy for the first time in his career (I think!) when he plays the Duke of Buckingham. The eagle-eyed amongst you may also have spotted Gavin and Stacey star James Corden sneaking into one of the images. Corden will be playing Planchet when The Three Musketeers hits theaters on October 21. (Source: Blogomatic3000)

Director Fernando Meirelles (City of God) has the movie 360 coming out in early 2012. It reunites him with his Constant Gardener star Rachel Weisz, along with Brits Jude Law, and Anthony Hopkins. The tagline for the film says that it is “A look at what happens when partners from different social backgrounds engage in physical relationships.” This dramatic thriller will be arriving first at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and you can see the first images below. Footage from the filming of The Dark Knight Rises has been sneaking out all over the place, here is the latest video featuring British actors Christian Bale and Tom Hardy in their big fight scene. The Dark Knight Rises is out July 20, 2012.

Paddy Considine (In America, Hot Fuzz) directing debut, Tyrannosaur has already secured a US distribution deal after wowing crowds at Sundance. It follows the story of two lonely, damaged people brought together by circumstance and stars Peter Mullan (NEDS, War Horse) and Olivia Colman in the lead roles. This British Movie looks like it is going to be pretty powerful stuff, as soon as we have a official release date and trailer we will let you know. (Source: HeyUGuys)

The first looks at British actor Matthew Goode in the film Burning Man have been released. Again this will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. It follows the story of Tom an English chef with a chic restaurant on Bondi Beach trying to put his life and his relationship with his son back on track while surrounded by women. No US release announced for this one yet.

The Woman in the Fifth is another film popping up at Toronto and this one stars British actress Kristin Scott Thomas who is currently receiving great acclaim in the US for her performance in Sarah’s Key . The Woman in the Fifth follows an American writer, Tom who moves to Paris to be closer to his daughter and finds himself falling immediately on hard times. Befriended by a French Arab who offers him a job, Tom finds himself employed as a security agent as he struggles to write his second novel and see his daughter. Meanwhile, his personal life takes a turn as he becomes involved with a beguiling woman. I think you’ll agree Kristin Scott Thomas looks stunning in the first images from the film to be released.

British director Steve McQueen’s follow up to his highly acclaimed movie Hunger is also hitting Toronto. It stars Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan, with Fassbender playing a New York Man confronting his sexual compulsions and the self-destructive acts of his sister (Mulligan). (Source: TIFF)

Ewan McGregor’s next project is Salmon Fishing in the Yemen in which he stars as a fisheries scientist who finds himself saddled with the task of introducing salmon fishing to the Highlands of Yemen. Director Lasse Hallström adapts this charming comedy from Paul Torday’s acclaimed novel, that also stars British actress Emily Blunt . (Source: TIFF)

Irish movie Albert Nobbs was co-wrote by and also stars Glenn Close. It is an adaptation of the play about a nineteenth-century Irishwoman who disguises herself as a man and works as a butler for twenty years. Mia Wasikowska (Jane Eyre), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (TV’s The Tudors) and Aaron Johnson (Nowhere Boy) co-star in this Irish period drama. (Source: TIFF)

Finally Racheal Weisz will be making more than one apperance in Toronto. In Deep Blue Sea she will star with fellow British actor Tom Hiddleston (Thor). Terence Davies directs this period piece about a woman whose overpowering, obsessive love alienates the men around her and destroys her well-being. Some beautiful new shots from the movie are below.
