Colin Firth and Emily Blunt are headed to Wilmington, NC for ‘Arthur Newman, Golf Pro’
Colin Firth and Emily Blunt have signed on to star in Arthur Newman, Golf Pro, which is currently building sets at EUE/Screen Gems Studios in Wilmington (the same studio where One Tree Hill is based) and will shoot in the Wilmington area from mid-October to mid-November.
The independent movie follows a man who missed his one shot at living the dream so he decides to fake his own death in an attempt to reinvent himself when he meets a woman who’s also in the process of trying to escape her old life. Together they begin to break into empty houses and steal the identities of the absent owners.
A Smile as Big as the Moon, a Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie, will also begin shooting in Wilmington on Sept. 28.
