Earns Six Primetime Emmy^® Awards

Masterpiece was honored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with six awards, including Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, at the Primetime Emmy® Awards ceremony on September 18, 2011 and the Creative Arts Awards ceremony held on September 11, 2011.

"Lightning doesn't strike often in television these days, but it certainly did for Downton Abbey," says Masterpiece executive producer Rebecca Eaton. "We are over the moon that the Academy has honored this series we all love. It's a big win for Downton Abbey, Masterpiece and PBS."
