DAME Helen Mirren brought a touch of class to the London premiere of her new movie The Debt last night.
The 66-year-old actress looked dazzling in a ruby wrap around jacket and skirt as she attended the premiere in London Mayfair.

Teaming her crimson outfit with a pair of heels and diamonds, the actress outshone her younger co-stars.

Mirren was joined on the red carpet by fellow actor Colin Firth with his wife Livia and upcoming talent Jessica Chastain.

Mirren was recently quoted as always being haunted by a bikini picture of herself taken while holidaying in Puglia, Italy.

The actress received much praise for her trim physique but she admitted she is not fond of it because it is a "lie" and she does not look as good as the shot implies.

Speaking at a press conference for her new film 'The Debt' in London, she said: "I think the thing that will haunt me for the rest of my life is that bloody photograph of myself in a bikini.

"In and of itself it is a lie, because I don't actually look like that, and I know that is going to haunt me forever. I will be forever trying to bury it, unsuccessfully."

The 'Debt' star has previously revealed she is not a fan of plastic surgery and wouldn't be tempted to go under the knife herself.

And she is always shocked when young women have cosmetic procedures to improve their looks and bodies.

She said: "The only thing I don't like on young people is plastic surgery.

"The purity of youthful beauty is so fantastic to me that it's horrific when young girls get fake things."

Espionage thriller The Debt begins in 1997, as shocking news reaches retired Mossad secret agents Rachel (Helen Mirren) and Stefan (Tom Wilkinson) about their former colleague David (Ciarán Hinds).

All three have been venerated for decades by their country because of the mission that they undertook back in 1966, when the trio (portrayed, respectively, by Jessica Chastain, Marton Csokas, and Sam Worthington) tracked down Nazi war criminal Vogel (Jesper Christensen) in East Berlin.

At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team's mission was accomplished - or was it? The suspense builds in and across two different time periods, with startling action and surprising revelations.
