Immortals: Gods & Heroes graphic novel artwork to be unveiled at Fantastic Fest
TARSEM SINGH'S striking take on Greek mythology in his new film Immortals is also heading to the comics world.A companion graphic novel called Immortals: Gods & Heroes is being published and artwork from the book is to be unveiled tomorrow (Saturday, September 24) at this year's Fantastic Fest, the annual film festival held in Austin, Texas.
Immortals actor Daniel Sharman, who plays Ares (right) in the Relativity Media film, will be hosting the event from 8pm to 10pm at Art on 5th, 1501 W. 5th Street. There's a chance to win an exclusive print from artist Rafael Kayanan.
The film, released in the UK and USA on November 11, stars new Superman actor Henry Cavill as Theseus (pictured top), Stephen Dorff as Stavros, Isabel Lucas as Athena, Freida Pinto as Phaedra, Luke Evans as Zeus, Kellan Lutz as Poseidon, John Hurt as the older Zeus and Mickey Rourke as King Hyperion.
