Supermodel and film star come to Windsor
It is not often a supermodel and an A-list film star visit Windsor on the same day - but it happened yesterday afternoon.

Kerri Parker, who won Miss Supermodel England this year, cat-walked into Windsor Racecourse in Maidenhead Road after being invited by Ladbrokes, her main sponsor.

Also enjoying the day's races was star of the films Closer, Children of Men and The International, actor Clive Owen, who was attending an Aegis Trust charity event.

Kerri has just returned from Fiji, where she won the People's Choice Crown and finished fourth overall in the World Supermodel Pageant contest on September 30 - entered by 150 countries.

The 27-year-old is not your stereotypical supermodel.

She competes in boxing and martial arts bouts and is a successful businesswoman with her Kerri Parker Academy, which nurtures young models.

The model was visiting the racecourse for the first time and said: "It is lovely, everyone is so friendly - if only it was sunnier."
