The actor is rumoured to be reprising his role as Ra’s al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises after he was spotted filming a scene for the movie in London earlier this year.
He has since told MTV: 'I'm eager to see this one. I haven't a f***ing clue what it's about.'
Ra’s al Ghul was Bruce Wayne’s mentor and nemesis who appeared to die at the end of 2005's Batman Begins - the first part of director Christopher Nolan's trilogy on the Caped Crusader.
Neeson will be next be seen up on the big screen in Clash of the Titans 2, Battleship and The Grey.
Christian Bale will be starring once again as Batman and will star alongside Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Juno Temple and Matthew Modine in the new film.
The Dark Knight Rises will be released in cinemas on July 20, 2012.
