Henry Cavill: Man of Steel Movie Trailer to Debut in Six Months. (Comic Book Move.com)

Found over at Movienewz.com, "The Man of Steel Movie Trailer to Debut in Six Months! Warner Bros. will reveal the first trailer and new images this June in preparation for Superman’s return to the big-screen. Warner Bros. will begin promoting its Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot ‘Man of Steel’ a whole year before it’s 2013 release date. The studio had a similar strategy with ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. The teaser trailer for that film debuted July 18, 2011, almost a year to the day of its July 20, 2012 scheduled release date. The ‘Man of Steel’ teaser trailer is set to debut on or before June 11th with official movie stills to appear in movie magazines and online before that date."

The Superman franchise is resurrected in Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures “Man of Steel” from director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight). The film stars Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Starring as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner. Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, the villainous General Zod, played by Michael Shannon, and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother, played by Ayelet Zurer, and Superman’s father, Jor-El, portrayed by Russell Crowe. Rounding out the cast are Harry Lennix as U.S. military man General Swanwick, as well as Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy. “Man of Steel” is being produced by Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder.
