EWAN McGREGOR can rock a crowd but don’t expect him to do it on a record. At the dinner Nylon Guys magazine and Berocca hosted in McGregor’s honor Thursday, we told the “Haywire” star we’d heard he’d given a remarkable performance fronting a rock band at the Go Go Gala in L.A. in November. “I don’t know if I was that good, but I sure had fun,” McGregor said at the Hotel Americano dinner that was attended by Nicholas K designer Nicholas Kunz and photographer Mick Rock. McGregor explained that he’s hosted Go Go for a couple years now, but decided to perform last-minute when organizers had trouble securing entertainment. That said, when we asked McGregor if he planned to record an album, he smiled his million-dollar smile and replied: “Don’t hold your breath.”
