A renowned British actor Ralph Fiennes is to play in two new
Russian films. Speaking with reporters in Moscow, Fiennes said that he is to
play in “Queen of Spade” by Pavel Lungin and “A Month In the Country” by Vera
Glagoleva. He met both directors last year when he came to Russia to chair the
jury of the Tarkovsky International film festival.
Fiennes is now in Moscow presenting his new film “Coriolanus”. It
is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy and Fiennes’ debut as a film director.
