Tom Hiddleston Replaces Michael Fassbender In Jim Jarmusch's Vampire Romance (Cinema Blend)

Just when I’m ready to wave the white flag on vampire movies, to declare that Fright Night remakes, Twilight sagas and full seasons of True Blood have exhausted my thirst for undead stories, Jim Jarmusch goes ahead and reveals he’ll be making a vampire film with Tilda Swinton, John Hurt and Mia Wasikowska. Seriously, that thing can’t reach theaters soon enough.

Unfortunatelly, Jarmusch won’t begin shooting Only Loves Left Alive until later this year, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t news aplenty swirling around the centuries-old love story between two vamps. For instance, War Horse star Tom Hiddleston joined the ensemble in a role originally intended for Michael Fassbender. Losing Fassbender hurts virtually any project, but Hiddleston’s a sizable talent, and that cast is dreamy, no matter what.
