"Meryl Streep gets a kiss on the lips from Colin Firth as she celebrates her Oscar win

As Mr Darcy in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice he stole the hearts of women everywhere with his broody and suave nature, and it appears that the talented actor has worked his magic on Meryl Streep too. Colin Firth, who is not a single man, charmed his way into the Best Actress winner's heart last night and was rewarded with a kiss on the lips.
Firth, 51, was on hand backstage to congratulate the 62-year-old actor after her win and still giddy with excitement after making her acceptance speech, she planted a luvvie-style kiss on the British star's mouth.
