British actor Henry Cavill has landed the dream role of portraying Clark Kent in the hotly-anticipated film and Kevin Costner will play his adopted human father Jonathan.

Superman fans are waiting with baited breath for the film which will be released some time next year.

However many are worried about whether director Zack Scnyder, who has directed movies such as Sucker Punch, 300 and Legend of the Guardians, is up to the task.
