Hugh Bonneville:Ambassador Theatre Group in support of the Martlets Hospice The Greatest is Love by Roland Rocchiccioli Sunday 22nd April 7.30pm (THE LATEST.CO.UK)

The Ambassador Theatre Group stages an exclusive reading of THE GREATEST IS LOVE, a new play by Roland Rocchiccioli, at Theatre Royal Brighton for one night only on Sunday 22nd April. Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey) is joined by Caroline Langrishe (Judge John Deed) to raise funds for the Martlets Hospice.

THE GREATEST IS LOVE tells the moving story of one couple, Rupert and Diana, through a collection of poignant love letters spanning their life together. This extraordinary play sheds a deeply personal light on the pain of separation during the Second World War and the heart-wrenching struggle to return to normality afterwards. The picture their intimate correspondence paints is one of touching romance and, later, breathtaking honesty as Rupert and Diana learn that amidst our greatest passions, we remain falteringly human.

About the Martlets Hospice

 - Martlets cares for people affected by terminal and life limiting illness, including cancer, looking after them in our InPatient Unit and in their own homes. We also support families to help them cope with the impact of terminal illness and bereavement on their lives. Martlets staff and volunteers are dedicated to giving our patients the best quality of life in the time left to them because we believe life is precious right to the end.
