I've got my eye on you, James! Dame Judi Dench's M joins Daniel Craig's Bond as they return to the London Skyfall set By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN (MAIL ON LINE)

So far we've seen Daniel Craig pretty much left to his own devices as he ran around London and the Home Counties as they heroic and reckless James Bond. But 007 will have to reign it in for a few days after his formidable boss decided to pay him a visit.

Of course, it was just his co-star Dame Judi Dench, who plays M, the head of MI6, as she joined Craig on set. Lovely day for it! Dame Judi Dench looked in fine form as she squinted in the spring sun on set of Skyfall in London yesterday The pair were snapped along Whitehall filming scenes for Skyfall, the 23rd Jame Bond installment which is being directed by Sam Mendes and is due for release in October.

Dame Judi, 77, looked in fine form as she filmed her scenes and enjoyed the sunshine as she got into the role for the seventh time. She was alongside Mendes who directed her and Craig in a scene that sees Bond drive M away from a government building.
