The nominations are in for the 2012 TV Choice Awards and popular BBC science fiction drama Doctor Who is leading the pack with three nominations overall.
Doctor Who is up for Best Family Drama, Best Actor for Matt Smith and Best Actress for Karen Gillan at the awards ceremony, which takes place at The Dorchester on September 10.
Doctor Who's Matt Smith will face tough competition from telly favourite Benedict Cumberbatch who has also been nominated for Best Actor based on his role on Sherlock. The pair will also be up against Doc Martin's Martin Clunes and Merlin's Colin Morgan.
Best Drama Series will be competed for between Skins (E4), Shamless (C4), Sherlock (BBC1) and Downton Abbey (ITV1).
Another fierce battle will be for the crown of Best Reality Show, which will see The Only Way Is Essex take on Made In Chelsea, My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and former winner I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here for the prestigious gong.
