Sean Bean has been refused permission to build a roof terrace after neighbours said it would allow him to peer into their bedrooms.
The Lord of the Rings actor, 53, wanted to transform a flat roof on the second floor of his £2million home into a terrace, complete with a 6ft translucent privacy screen.
Four-times married Bean, who is dating art curator Victoria Golembiovskaya, had wanted it to overlook his own garden.
But four residents complained and the local council rejected his plans.
A neighbour in North West London said: “Sean’s a regular face in the area.
“In fact, you quite often see more than just his face as he is always pacing around on his balcony in just a towel, chatting on his phone.
