FOR more than a year, fans of hit BBC drama Sherlock have been scratching their heads, trying to work out how the title character cheated death.
At the end of the last series, viewers were left open-mouthed as Benedict Cumberbatch’s sleuth plunged from a hospital roof – before turning up at his own graveside.
And these pictures show one way he could have pulled it off – and tricked his trusty sidekick Dr John Watson – with the help of illusionist Derren Brown.
However, before he can get to his friend, played by Benedict Cumberbatch,he collapses to the ground.
He unsteadily gets to his feet, only to be met by a mysterious man in a hood, Brown's hypnotist.
Following the encounter, which lasts mere seconds, Watson once again collapses, and while he is unconscious, the mystery assailant changes his watch, moving it forwards by one hour.
Fans will be eager to know just what this means in regards to Sherlock faking his own death, a TV mystery of epic proportions.
