He recently checked out two apartments at One Morton Square -- where the Olsen twin sisters, Ashley and Mary-Kate, once owned an apartment but never moved in (around the time they thought they would study at New York University but ditched that plan too.)
Current fellow owners at One Morton Square include Rickman's fellow Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe, as well as Oliver Stone, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, and Mike Myers. Rickman looked at a stunning ninth floor unit that is asking $2.59 million. It is two bedrooms, and two and a half baths and it is about 1,450 square feet. It has nine foot ceilings and partial river views that include the Statue of Liberty.
Corcoran Group broker Jennifer Miller declined to comment. The apartment includes audio wiring, custom built-ins, great light and a chef's kitchen. The building, which caters to celebrities and regular rich folks, includes a 3200 square foot gym, children's play room, indoor parking garage and bike storage
