The Top Five Hottest Actors From Scotland - Hunks From The Highlands (Celebrity Cafe)

When you think Scotland do you think of the Highlands or Tartan designs? Certainly Scotland is known for many things, such as golf, but it is also the country that gave Hollywood some very handsome leading man. Scottish men are both incredibly masculine and also very sexy in a very Celtic way. Here are the top five hottest Scotts in Hollywood:

Sir Sean Connery
The first actor to bring James Bond to life is the one and only 007 in the minds of many. Connery first showed us his devilish sexiness as the master spy in Dr. No. Today, despite his advocacy for a free Scotland, he is a Knight of the British Empire. Connery was also enlisted in the Royal Navy as a teenager, a popular bodybuilder in Scotland, and one of the first of the modern hunks. Nobody does it better than Sean Connery, either as James Bond, or as a man's man.

Gerard Butler
We first became crazy over Butler in the movie 300. His Scottish voice, tall frame, and burly physique, made him the heir to Connery's title as Hottest Scott. Butler almost became a lawyer until fate intervened and he went to London to try his hand at acting. Butler has since become a popular romantic leading man as well as dramatic actor. When women see Butler they can help but talk about how manly he is. His response is that all men in Scotland look like him. If you walk into a pub in Glasgow or Edinburgh, all the men have that manly appearance that Butler is known for.

James McAvoy
McAvoy was so sweet as Thomas Lefroy in Becoming Jane that many moviegoers were smitten on first sight. He was also the tragic love in Atonement and got to play a doctor in The Last King of Scotland, where his natural Scottish voice got to speak. It was all too much when he became the young Charles Xavier in X-Men: First Class. McAvoy is a combination of sweet, sexy, and the boy next door with international appeal. What is most adorable about him is, like Hugh Jackman, McAvoy constantly talks about how much he adores his wife Anne-Marie Duff for being the woman of his dreams.

Ewan McGregor
We first saw him in Trainspotting as a heroin addict in Scotland. Later we found him in a romance with Cameron Diaz in A Life Less Ordinary. McGregor is enchanting on the big screen. He has both a manly appeal, sense of mischief, and classic movie star good looks.

Craig Ferguson
The late-night talk show host has a noticeable Scottish accent and wicked sense of humor. He is now an American citizen, but the land of Scotia can still call him a native son. One of these days we will really have to see him in a kilt.
