Gerard Butler has signed on for the diamond-heist thriller Brilliant. The 42-year-old Scottish actor replaces Eric Bana, who was previously in talks for the lead role. The film will reunite Gerard with his The Ugly Truth director, Robert Luketic. Filming is set for May in Boston.
