Bruce Springsteen And Paul McCartney Get Shut Down At Concert (VIDEO) Posted: 07/16/2012 3:47 pm Updated: 07/16/2012 9:36 pm (HUFF POST)
Concertgoers were in for quite the surprise when Bruce Springsteen brought Sir Paul McCartney on stage during his finale in London’s Hyde Park. The legendary rockers performed several Beatles hits together, but their performance was cut short when concert organizers suddenly pulled the plug.

What gives? Apparently Springsteen was three hours into his performance before McCartney joined him on stage. The pair was shut down when they exceeded the noise curfew previously set in place and after authorities received complaints from a neighboring community.
London mayor Boris Johnson commented on the situation, saying, "If they had called me, my answer would have been to jam on in the name of the Lord!"

Colin Firth Updates Us On Third 'Bridget Jones' Film, Including Director Search

When it was confirmed back in August that bawdy Brit Bridget Jones would grace the silver screen for a third time, little else was known about the long-gestating project, including whether Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant would reprise their starring roles. So when we caught up with Colin recently at the junket for his upcoming "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," we had to ask for an are talking to ['Full Monty' director] Peter Cattaneo," Colin said, referring to the director's chair left vacant by "Bridesmaids" helmer Paul Feig, who drafted a version of the script before pulling out of the project.
As to whether he's excited by the prospect of a third film, Colin's response was tradeMark Darcy. "I could be," he said with a sheepish grin. "I'm reconciled to the inevitability. Yeah, I think they'll do a good job."
Of course, a lot has changed for the lead actors since 2004's "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason," and no one is more aware of that fact than the series' author, Helen Fielding.
"It's hard to pull these things together," she told us in May while celebrating the 15th anniversary of her first Bridget Jones's novel. "There are so many people involved. I think they are sort of moving towards it now. It's definitely taking shape now, and it would be so much fun if they all came back and did it. You know, Colin has won an Oscar now. No pressure or anything."
It's been rumored the third installment will likely focus on Bridget's attempt at motherhood (a similar plotline to Helen's in-progress third novel).
Are you excited for a third Bridget Jones movie? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

Henry Cavill and Luke Evans have fun with photo captions of themselves
Get More: Movie Trailers, Movies Blog
There is a lot to like about this week's bright and shiny addition to the "sword and sandals" movie canon, "Immortals." There's a little Greek mythology, beautifully choreographed action sequences, a love story, etc. Most importantly, however, there is a LOT of shirtless Henry Cavill. As such Relativity, the studio releasing the film, knows that promoting their stunning, semi-naked star via several gorgeous production stills will only help their cause. And not to mention the rest of the ridiculously attractive cast: Luke Evans, Freida Pinto, Kellan Lutz, Stephen Dorff, Isabel Lucas, etc.
When MTV News caught up with them during the film's press day recently, we asked them to play along with some photo captioning of the glossy, stylized promotional pics and unsurprisingly, they were happy to oblige.
Photo #1: Henry As Theseus, Ripped And Ready For Battle
Henry: "I'm thinking of what I was thinking at the exact moment [during filming] which was, 'The bell is ringing. What's going on?'"
Luke: "I know what I'm going to say... 'Is it a bird? Is it a plane?'"
Stephen: "What's the weather like today?"
Photo #2: The Gang's All Here
Luke: "Ready, steady, go!"
Henry: "Look at the size of that wave!"
Stephen: "We were trying to re-create our 'Saturday Night Fever' dance because we were cast before Travolta in that."
Photo #3: Fearless Freida
Luke: "What the hell are you looking at?"
Henry: "Your dress is on fire."
Stephen: "You look like the most beautiful goddess in a red dress with flames coming out behind you."
Photo #4: Freida Helps A Man In Need
Luke: "God, if he asks me to clean his underwear again I'm going to be so pissed off."
Stephen: "God, I feel like a BLT sandwich right now. I'm hungry, Tarsem"
Photo #5: Stephen Is Ready For Action
Luke: "He's scratching his leg with his sword."
Stephen and Freida: "Whoaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Stephen: "Let me get some Phaedra. Where is she? I'm gonna cut her hair if she doesn't sleep with me."
Freida: "I'm gonna get that girl"

Sophia Grace And Rosie Return To ‘Ellen!’ [VIDEO]
Socialite Life
November 9, 2011 7:00 pm /
Ellen
A few weeks ago, Sophia Grace Brownlee and her hype girl, Rosie McClelland went on Ellen to perform “Super Bass” in honor of their favorite singer, Nicki Minaj. Things went so swimmingly, that DeGeneres invited them back yesterday to catch up. Dressed in new digs (but still sticking to the pink tutu style they know and love), Sophia Grace, 8, and Rosie, 5, sat down with Ellen to talk about how famous they are post-You Tube fame (23 million people, to date).
Sophia Grace has since lost a tooth and scored two pounds, and she simply couldn’t save her reward. “I bought two little pony toys,” SG told DeGeneres. And what did SG think of meeting Minaj? “Oh, that was just so good. I couldn’t get to sleep that night.”
And what did the girls think of Ellen’s Halloween costume? “That’s Ellen and she was dressed up as me,” Sophia Grace shouted jovially. “And she even had her own hype girl! And Tony dressed up as Nicki Minaj!”
I’d like to get me one of those tutu dresses. Catch the interview PLUS a special performance by the girls after the jump.

Henry Cavill, Kellan Lutz & Luke Evans Hunk Up ‘Immortals’ Premiere [PHOTOS]
The premiere of Relativity Media’s Immortals presented in RealD 3D last night (November 8) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California was a feast of beauty.
PHOTOS: A Shirtless Henry Cavill Fights The Bad Guys For ‘Man Of Steel’
Henry Cavill was all dressed up in a three-piece Tom Ford suit, while his co-star Luke Evans went for a three-piece suit as well. Kellan Lutz was all smiley and lovey dovey on the red carpet with his new girlfriend Sharni Vinson.
The Ladies weren’t so shabby themselves. Freida Pinto wore a stunning cream Antonio Berardi, and then a hot red dress Nina Ricci to the after party in which she was accompanied by boyfriend Dev Patel.

Isabel Lucas chose a satin Roksanda Ilincic dress with ribbon shoulders for the event. While The Hills stars Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge opted for red, with Kristin wearing a Mimi Plange dress, and Audrina wore a red satin blouse tucked into leather trews and clompy boots.

Helen Mirren: 'The Debt' Star On Her Regrets And Shakespearean Dreams
First Posted: 9/20/11 04:32 PM ET Updated: 9/20/11 04:32 PM ET
At age 66, Dame Helen Mirren shows no signs of slowing down. The woman who wowed the world while rocking a red bikini a couple of years ago has “The Debt” out in theaters now and “The Tempest” recently released on DVD. Mirren spoke to HuffPost Celebrity from New Orleans where she was tagging along while her husband, Taylor Hackford, directs a movie.
HuffPost: You’re in “The Debt,” which opened in theaters last month. What drew you to the film?
Helen Mirren: An interesting role in an interesting movie. It’s kind of a grown-up movie, for want of a better word.
HuffPost: I love the themes it plays on memory and forgiveness.
Mirren: Yes, and guilt as well. It’s very much about guilt and making mistakes when you’re young and having to pay for those mistakes when you’re older.
HuffPost: Do you have any regrets?
Mirren: Of course, lots of them. Usually they’re mistakes of omission. Having omitted to do something that you should have really done either through selfishness or laziness or whatever.
HuffPost: You’re also in “The Tempest,” which just came out on DVD. You basically play the boy role.
Mirren: Well, yes, I played the man role. Shakespeare very often had boys dressed as girls but not so often women dressed as men, but I play it as a woman. I don’t play it as a man.
HuffPost: Did you take the role because you thought it would be interesting to switch things around?
Mirren: No, it was an idea that I had, that that particular role could be played as a woman. It would just give a new take on the relationships in the play. Shakespeare is such an extraordinary writer -- you can do all kinds of things with him and the core of the piece stays strong, but you do get different reverberations through the play. I’ve seen “Henry V,” for example, played by a black actor which gave it a whole different kind of feeling and again in “The Tempest,” Prospero can be played as a woman.
HuffPost: Did you do Shakespeare when you were younger?
Mirren: I did a lot of Shakespeare. I started off with Shakespeare. I loved it. As a young actress I wanted to be a Shakespearean actress. It’s the most demanding of all the acting that you can ever get to do.
HuffPost: When I interviewed Alan Cumming for “The Tempest,” he said the cast had so much fun, having hot tubs after work.
Mirren: (Laughs) I don’t remember the hot tubs together. Maybe that happened when I was trying to build up my energy for the next day. But yes, it was a great experience because it was a fantastic cast and we were shooting in Hawaii -- what could be better than that?
HuffPost: I would have chosen it just for that.
Mirren: Yes, exactly, you’re right. Location is extremely important.
HuffPost: I don’t know how actors learn their lines for Shakespeare. I would never, ever be able to do that.
Mirren: Learning “The Tempest” was the hardest thing. I knew I had to learn the whole thing before I shot any film so I learned the whole play. It took me about two months of solid learning every day. You just sit down and do it. It’s time consuming, you just go over it and over it and over it. Eight-year-old children learn the Quran by heart. The human brain has the capability of doing it. It’s just a matter of knuckling down and doing it.
HuffPost: When I was studying, I’d reward myself with a treat at the end of the day like a chocolate biscuit. Did you ever do that?
Mirren: (Laughs) More like a vodka.
HuffPost: You project such an aura of confidence in your acting.
Mirren: I’m not that confident. I’m really not. I’m fraught with self-doubt and self-questioning. Maybe I’ve gotten better at hiding it or maybe I don’t ultimately care so much anymore that I don’t have any confidence, if you know what I mean. It doesn’t rack me in the way it used to. I’m resigned to it, let’s put it that way.
