Earlier this week we got to see a bunch of really super hawt photos (HERE and HERE) of actor Henry Cavill shirtless on the set of Superman: Man of Steel. But, as with all good things … those have come to an end … for now. Instead, we get to see a few new photos of Hank on set wearing a very tight-fitting tank top. Now, he may not be shirtless but as you can see below, the tank cannot hide his crazy hotness.

If you’re still finding the idea of our favourite caped crusader being dragged into the 21st century, you might want to reconsider. After all, in this cynical age where realistic CGI dinosaurs don’t cause a flicker of excitement, would we really accept a man in tights could save the world? We all probably agree that it would take more than that, even in the realm of fantasy, and that more could be 28-year-old Henry Cavill. He’s more gritty, more hairy and on the evidence of pictures from the Toronto set today, much MORE muscly. The makers of Man of Steel have promised an updated take on the beloved Superman films, and it looks to be quite a departure. But if these arms can’t save the world, then we’re all off to hell in a hand cart. They’ll certainly cause many women to dream of being swept to safety in their sinewy enclosure.

I will have you know that Superman saves women AND men, thank you very much. That way, all people have the same equal opportunity to be “swept to safety” in Henry‘s “sinewy enclosure”. Lord have mercy, this man is hot. I’m really diggin’ the facial hair, too. I’m guessing that Superman himself won’t have a beard but Clark Kent will have a beard, at least for a small part of the film. I approve, wholeheartedly. Shirtless or not, I’m happy to share any photos of Henry Cavill … let’s just hope they keep coming with some regularity ;) Enjoy!
