Henry Cavill says 'Superman' fans opinions matter
Henry Cavill has admitted that he is mindful of Superman fans' love for the character and the franchise.
The actor will take over the role of Clark Kent in the 2013 movie as Zack Snyder brings the character back to the big screen.
And Cavill reveals that he has done his research but is open to take on ideas from the fans.
Speaking the AP the actor said: "There are a lot of people who have dedicated their life to loving this character. Their opinion does matter.
"I've done my research on the source material. I have my opinions on the various bits and bobs, but sometimes there will be a little gem out there about one of the books, and I'll say to myself, 'Yeah. That's a good point'."
Superman looks set to send Cavill star rocketing as he leads an all star cast of Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.
Cavill returned to the big screen last week with his new movie Immortals, which topped the U.S. box office over the weekend.
