Mondo/DC Collaboration: The Fortress Of Solitude; Henry Cavill Says He's Never Met Christopher Nolan Mondo, the guys who always come up with some really slick posters in association with various companies have this time partnered up with DC Comics. The first in the series is "The Fortress of Solitude" from artist JC Richard. It goes on sale tomorrow (November 25) on Mondo's website. You can also find Mondo on Twitter for more specifics.

Mondo's Creative Director Justin Ishmael had this to say about the new line:

"We wanted to kick off the DC Comics series with an art print from arguably the most famous character ever, but in a unique way which focuses on the iconic Fortress of Solitude."

On the first piece, Mitch Putnam of Mondo said:

"This marks the second time we’ve worked with artist JC Richard, who wowed us all with the subtle beauty of a lost world in his Jurassic Park print; and he again knocks it out of the park with a stunning vision of Superman’s lair."

The man who will be the one flying out of one such fortress, Henry Cavill was recently interviewed by the Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex. He revealed an interesting tidbit that despite Christopher Nolan being on board 'Man of Steel' as a producer, the two have yet to meet. He said:

"I haven’t seen him. He’s a busy man. I haven’t met him yet and I really look forward to meeting him."

Even with Nolan's go-to 'Batman' screenwriter, David S. Goyer having a hand in 'Man of Steel,' the film may not be as "Nolan-ized" as people may have thought. That said, there's still plenty of time left for 'The Dark Knight Rises' director to put his stamp on it as well.

'Man of Steel' is scheduled for theatrical release on June 14, 2013.
