In theaters now, TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY is the big-screen adaptation of JOHN LeCARRE’S best-selling 1978 Cold War spy novel. Directed by TOMAS ALFREDSON, the film stars GARY OLDMAN, JOHN HURT, MARK STRONG, COLIN FIRTH, TOBY JONES and BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. Probably best known for his Oscar-winning role in last year’s THE KING’S SPEECH, FIRTH also charmed audiences as the handsome leading man in such romantic projects as PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY and A SINGLE MAN. During our recent interview, FIRTH confessed to wanting a break from acting and that it took this story to get him back to work.
