THE sister of Hollywood hunk James McAvoy has told how her famous brother SCREAMED down the phone in excitement after she landed a part in the latest Ken Loach flick.
Stunning Joy McAvoy stars in the veteran director’s new movie The Angels’ Share, which is set to be a box-office smash when it’s released this Friday after winning the Jury Prize at Cannes last night.
And the actress last night told how older sibling James is a massive fan of Loach, 75, although he’s never been in any of his films.
Joy said: “When I got the part James was the first person I phoned.
“We literally screamed down the phone at each other in excitement. He kept saying, ‘Oh my God, oh my God’ — he was so happy.
“He’s a massive fan of Ken Loach, and said he was a little bit jealous.”
And talented Joy, 29, revealed how she’s also playing a part alongside her brother in gritty Scottish flick Filth.
