The Emmys party got started early at a special reception for writer nominees on Thursday night at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Downton Abbey was well-represented with Joanne Froggatt, Michelle Dockery, and Brendan Coyle. Jessica Paré, meanwhile, was on hand supporting Mad Men. Both programs earned multiple nods at this year's Emmys. Downton's earned a nomination for outstanding drama series, as well as six acting honours.
