The first film in Peter Jackson’s ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy, ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,’ recently received three Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, and Best Production Design. Currently sitting at $920,905,000 million earned worldwide, expect ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ to pass the colossal $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office by March.
