Tom Hiddleston’s fans adore him, and the feeling is mutual. The “Thor 2: The Dark World” star, 32, recently took to Twitter to praise his fans for their fundraising efforts and Hiddleston has spoken of how happy he is with his devoted fan base.
“That is flat-out amazing. I could not be more proud of what you have done,” Hiddleston tweeted on June 26 at a fan account called @HiddlestonersHH (Hiddlestoners Have [Heart]). The Twitter bio reads, “Fans of #TomHiddleston Assemble! #HiddlestonersHaveHeart a @Unicef_UK fundraiser (born in @HiddlestonersFB group) in honor of @twHiddleston.”
The reason for Hiddleston’s praise? His fans raised £32,000 ($48,000) for humanitarian aid organization UNICEF in honor of Hiddleston.
“Hiddlestoners are not just fans, they are a force of nature!” they write on their UNICEF fundraising page.
“They have heart, they make things happen because ‘that's the Hiddlestoners way.’ As a gift to Tom, we had started this drive to support UNICEF UK, and now it continues on.
