The GQ Men of the Year Awards took place this week and it was a successful evening for Downton Abbey actor Dan Stevens and Les Miserables star Eddie Redmayne, as they both won awards. Dan was awarded the Most Stylish, while Eddie won the Breakthrough Star of the Year Award.
Stevens said that he and his wife found the win rather amusing, explaining, "My wife thinks this is hilarious. She reminded me when we first met I wore jeans that we could both fit into."
Meanwhile, Redmayne told Metro, "Singing at the Oscars will go down as the most terrifying event of my life. It’s one thing screwing it up when you can have another take but the Oscars? That night, if you screw it up there was nowhere to hide. I prepared with several stiff drinks."
