Michelle Dockery and Hugh Bonneville were a few of the Downton Abbey stars to attend the show's charity ball for ChildLine at the Savoy Hotel in London last night (October 24)
Dockery looked elegant in a knee-length black dress with lace trim, while co-star Bonneville was smart in a black tuxedo at the special event, held in aid of the NSPCC's confidential 24-hour helpline and online service for children.
Other guests at the bash included Cara Theobold, Gary Carr, Rob James-Collier, Allen Leech and the ITV show's creator Julian Fellowes.

Downton Abbey spoiler: Mary Crawley to have three handsome men competing for her affections

Lady Mary Crawley will replace the loss of her husband Matthew with at least THREE new men in her life, the Downton Abbey boss has revealed.
Widow Mary, played by Michelle Dockery, will begin the new series later this month on ITV wearing black and looking broken.
But she will slowly return to her old self - partly thanks to three handsome men.
Executive producer Gareth Neame said: “The spine of the new season is how Mary moves from total bereavement into turning to life again.
“We do see quite a bit of the Mary she was before she met Matthew, that icy iron-maiden quality.
“It’s going to take an awful lot to get her back to life.”
According to US magazine TV Guide, the start of her rehabilitation comes in episode two when the dashing Lord Gillingham, played by Tom Cullen, comes to Downton for a lavish house party in the second episode and offers Mary advice on inheritance taxes.
“Mary is not looking for anyone to replace Matthew, but she is, of course, a beautiful, eligible young widow, so inevitably there is going to be quite a lot of male interest,” Neame says.
“Gillingham is a very useful friend to Mary at a time when she’s not able to make decisions.”
In the third episode, Mary’s loved ones convince her to leave the house and venture away from Downton.
She accompanies Branson, Rose and Aunt Rosamund to London’s Lotus jazz club, where she meets suave black singer Jack Ross (played by Gary Carr) from Chicago.
Neame added: “Ross is very positive, ambitious and charming. And we get to see him perform.”
The third character to help change Mary and her mood is Charles Blake, played by Julian Ovenden, although they do not get on well and he only enrages her initially.

We know you miss Matthew (Dan Stevens), "Downton Abbey" fans, but the period drama has plenty of new men for you to meet in Season 4. New additions to the cast include Gary Carr, Julian Ovenden and Tom Cullen and Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) isn't settling down just yet.

"She has more than one love interest," Dockery admitted with a laugh at the Television Critics Association Summer 2013 press tour. "Of course, it's important for her to eventually move on."
In an interview with BuzzFeed, Dockery likened Mary's Season 4 predicament to Season 1 where she was focused on finding a husband. "[Men] are being thrown in her direction by Cora, because she has to remarry. She doesn’t have a choice, really. Or maybe she does. I like to think that she ends up like Elizabeth, that she had one love and maybe she never, ever loves again. That would be cool, wouldn’t it?” she said.

Meet Downton Abbey’s First Black Cast Member by Julie Miller (VANITY FAIR)
Downton-ites (CC: Newt Gingrich), meet Gary Carr, the show’s newest casting addition and latest attempt to fill the gaping hole left by departing actors Dan Stevens, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Siobhan Finneran. Carr will play “Jack Ross, a male musician in the 25-to-30-year-old range who plays at an exclusive club in the 20s.” (Controversial fling for Edith, anyone?) Earlier this year, Downton producers were reportedly looking for someone “black and very handsome” who could play a “real man (not a boy) with charm and charisma.”
Judging by a YouTube interview on the Web series “The Syrus Lowe Down” uploaded in February (below), we can confirm that the 26-year-old English actor—who co-stars on the BBC comedy/crime drama Death in Paradise—is indeed very handsome and appears to be quite charming! While his Wikipedia page contains disappointingly few details, it does mention that Carr is a dancer and musician in addition to being an actor.
