Start lining up ladies, because Henry Cavill is a single man once again.

The Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice actor has broken up with girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo after only a few months of dating.

Cavill and Gonzalo were first linked as a couple shortly after the Man of Steel actor broke things off with longtime love Gina Carano in December 2014. According to E!, the Hollywood hunk and Carano first started dating in September 2012 but ended things by the summer of 2013.

Numerous sightings of the couple together in places where Cavill was filming his movies as well as them adopting a dog together are just few hints that this maybe a very serious relationship. Reports have also suggested that neither of them is secretive of their relationship nor shy about posing with fans as a couple.

In an April story on New York Post’s page six, the couple was seen spending time together in Chicago. The celebrities were seen enjoying their drinks at the Vertigo Sky Lounge, atop the 26th floor of the Dana Hotel & Spa, where they took a break from their get-together to pose for pictures with fans.

Earlier this year, the couple adopted an Akita puppy from Big Bear Akitas, a breeder in Arkansas – where some fans see the move as an indication that Cavill maybe ready to settle down.

The “Batman vs. Superman” actor and Hollywood heartthrob has also been vocal about his desire to start a family. And it won’t be surprising if he pops the question soon to his on-again and off-again girlfriend.

I received a phone call from my boyfriend, around 3pm 420/Easter Sunday, who was waiting tables at Jack's on Halsted - 3201 N. HALSTED- and he said he wasn't sure but he thought Henry Cavill was there having brunch w an unknown female. I was house sitting at Irving Park n Kedzi area, so I flew over to Jack's w the hope of a pic n autograph...

Not wanting to get my boyfriend Barry in trouble, I made sure to get permission from Mr. Cavill to approach him after he was done eating cuz the last thing I wanted to do was annoy THE MAN OF STEEL! Anyway, Mr. Cavill said sure and my boyfriend said it was up to me now...so I took a breath and headed toward their table. I introduced myself to Henry and shook his hand then turned to the woman to shake her hand and introduce myself ...turns out the "unknown female" is none other than Gina Carano, star of action flick HAYWIRE, 2008 American Gladiator Crush, world champion MMA fighter. Said hello as Henry was standing up so my boyfriend could take our pic...I was breathless w the double wammy of the two cuz I love her too and wasn't expecting it to be her- I was floored. All I could say to her was that she was gorgeous. Then we took the pic and I handed him my wallet and a black marker - I came prepared for him, not her too tho!- as he signed, I gushed about how a great superman he makes and what a great job he's doin and congratulations and good luck w ur career. Then I walked away to compose myself..they were about to cash out when Henry went to the bathroom - exactly where I was trying to compose. I got out of his way and thanked him again. Then I said to my boyfriend- loud enough for Henry to hear- that I was leaving now so Henry would not get creeped out. But because I spazzed on Gina, I headed to her on the way out, to tell her that he was gorgeous as well as they were together! Congrats and happy Easter! Peace out, faster than a speeding bullet ;-)

Henry Cavill & Gina Carano Are Back Together

HENRY Cavill is back with his on/off girlfriend Gina Carano.

The pair have been spotted spending time together in Chicago, where Superman sequel Batman vs. Superman will film later this year.

Over the weekend, the photogenic couple enjoyed drinks at the Vertigo Sky Lounge, atop the 26th floor of the Dana Hotel & Spa, where they took a break from their get-together to pose for pictures with fans, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

Henry and Gina also been seen at Chicago’s SushiSamba.

The pair split last year, and Henry briefly dated Kaley Cuoco.

At the time of the split, it was claimed Gina was jealous of Henry’s career.

“Henry is really lapping up the fame and glory,” a source said

“He knew he would be getting some notice for Man of Steel but his life is absolutely crazy right now.

“Gina is used to having Henry all to herself, and now she has to share him with the world. She really fears she’s going to be swept away by the rising tide of Henry’s career.

Way back in 2007, when Henry was best known for his supporting role on “The Tudors,” he was linked to “The Biggest Loser” trainer Jillian Michaels, but neither star ever confirmed the buzz. Whatever happened, it ended quickly; Jillian, who is openly bisexual, now has two children with her partner, Heidi Rhoades.

Susie Redmond (2007)

We have no idea who she is, but Henry took someone named Susie Redmond as his date to the “Stardust” premiere in 2007. They were never seen together again, so if she was a girlfriend and not just a friend, it probably wasn’t serious.

Maude Hirst (2009)

Another rumor – Henry and Maude, an actress who appeared on “The Tudors” and is now in "Vikings" – were briefly linked while filming the show. They went to a few events together, however, neither confirmed the relationship and the rumors ended quickly.

Our favorite Man of Steel (sorry, Dean Cain) and MMA fighter-turned-actress Gina Carano have just added a new member to the family. Take a look at their adorable Akita puppy.

The couple was spotted at the Little Rock, Arkansas, airport on Monday, Jan. 6, and it was later revealed on an Arkansas Big Bear Akita breeder's website they were there to pick up the newest member of their pack:

/We are proud to announce the newest members of the Big Bear family! Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Gina Carano (Fast and Furious 6) are the proud owners of a Big Bear Akita. It was so great working with Henry and getting to meet him as well as Gina was truly a treat. Both Henry and Gina are genuine and a joy to be around. It was truly an honor to add them to our extended family and [we] thank them for their patience in meeting us and our children. It's not every day that an A-list celebrity, much less 2 celebrities come to Beebe, AR to visit.

Rumor has it the couple plans to name the new pooch Kal-El (Superman's given name), but we have a few more suggestions just in case they want to go with something a little less on the wet nose.

“We thought he was a movie star, but we just couldn’t place it. So we asked him when we rang him out. He said he's back to training at Gym Jones for the next movie. He bought two pairs of C-WX tights and a couple pairs of Saucony and Northface shorts. He was with his MMA fighter girlfriend. She helped him pick out some shorts and took care of him more than we did."

"He said he's back to training at Gym Jones for the next movie."

And that means getting back into Spandex -- $300 bucks worth.

"He bought two pairs of C-WX tights and a couple pairs of Saucony and Northface shorts," she added.

The 30-year-old heartthrob also brought a shopping companion. It looks like he and his girlfriend Gina Carano are going strong, despite their brief break-up this summer.

"He was with his MMA fighter girlfriend. She helped him pick out some shorts and took care of him more than we did," added Theobald with a laugh.

"He really kept to himself and no one recognized him," except one lucky employee. "One of our employees loves Superman so he just had to get a picture with him."

The handsome Man of Steel star was seen dining with Gina Carano in Rome, Italy, earlier this week.

The 30 year-old performer, who is currently filming The Man From U.N.C.L.E. with director Guy Ritchie in the ancient city, took a break from his hectic schedule to spend an evening with the brunette.

Seated outside a romantic restaurant, where they shared a bottle of red wine, the pair looked relaxed and happy as they toasted each others' company.

In fact, they looked every inch the couple as they exchanged warm, familiar banter, which frequently resulted in laughter.

Hours later they were seen leaving the venue together.

I would probably feel more…kind.

I would miss him for Gina Carano.

I might even envy it. Eating alone, with a book, or the newspaper, or a great magazine is an indulgence.

But that Kaley Cuoco incident won’t go away. She’s certainly trying to make it go away. Henry Cavill Buys $5 Million Mansion Near Hollywood

Just a few months ago, before the summer of 2013 began, not many in the US knew who Henry Cavill was, he could walk around mostly undetected, except for a few loyal fans that followed him around. Things have certainly changed for the handsome Brit. Now we hear he has bought a $5 million mansion to escape it all.

It seems a bit extravagant, but in California real estate is not cheap, not by a long shot. At the equivalent of roughly $5.5 million, Henry’s new mansion is certainly private. The home is located on a remote area of the shores of Lake Sherwood, about 20 minutes away from Hollywood, where work is for him when he’s in the US.



Henry Cavill is said to be “blown away” by the futuristic look of his new home. He has been looking for a more permanent base than the apartment he has been living in for the past 18 months, while promoting Man Of Steel in which he plays Superman. The four bedroom home reportedly has a movie room (very appropriate), floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the lake view, a dock, a pool, and guest quarters for when friends and family visit.

Henry decided to buy the property after signing a multiple movie deal with Warner Bros. for a possible Man Of Steel franchise. If the movies do well, he is signed for up to five films in which he would portray Superman/Clark Kent.

The 'Man of Steel' star and 'The Big Bang Theory' beauty split up last month following a brief romance and friends of Kaley say she found the interest in their relationship difficult to deal with.

A source told the US edition of OK! Magazine: ''She just got overwhelmed with the very public Superman relationship. She's not used to that much attention and chaos in her life.''

So we’ve already established that Henry Cavill’s relationship with Kaley Cuoco is pretty meh, but could it also not really be a relationship at all? These latest photos of the couple stepping out in public together holding hands and flashing smiles have me suspicious. There are just too many things that don’t add up, starting with the fact that out of all of the pictures I’ve seen from their outing together, there is not one in which they appear to be avoiding the paparazzi’s cameras or seeking privacy of any kind. And that’s weird to see coming from two relatively private people. I mean, Kaley had a two-year-long secret relationship with her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki. And suddenly she’s out and about flaunting her very new relationship with no attempt at privacy?

There’s also the issue of timing. When I first heard these two were dating, I immediately thought, “Wait, doesn’t Henry have a girlfriend?” Although Us Weekly reported that he and Gina Carano had broken up, I couldn’t find any reports about such a break-up that weren’t also discussing his new relationship with Kaley. When did this break-up happen and was there really enough time for Henry and Kaley to go from no relationship at all to holding hands and buying groceries? Seriously. They bought groceries together.

Also what was the status of their relationship when Kaley tweeted that photo of herself staring in awe at the Man of Steel poster? That looked like the kind of picture I would tweet after spending two hours ogling Henry’s chiseled features which I have never met in person, not while I was actually dating those chiseled features. So had she actually met him at that point, which was less than a month ago, I might add?

For all we know these two are a legit couple, but I’m not the only one who smells something fishy. Although most mainstream entertainment news sites are simply reporting that they’re a cute new couple, other places like Celebitchy and Buzzfeed are skeptical, and in the comments sections of articles on the subject, I’m seeing a lot of confusion, heartbreak and cries of “fake fake fake.”
