'Vamps' EXCLUSIVE: Bite Into Teaser Poster For Alicia Silverstone Flick
September 6, 2011 | Amy Wilkinson

It was the sage Beverly Hills philosopher Cher Horowitz who once said, "Anything you can do to draw attention to your mouth is good." While we doubt she had flesh-piercing fangs in mind, consider our interest piqued nonetheless.

It's been an unbelievable 16 years since Alicia Silverstone flaunted Cher's fashionable frocks in the now-classic high school flick "Clueless," and the actress is happily reuniting with writer-director Amy Heckerling for the latest entry into the undead cannon: "Vamps." And we have an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek of the movie's teaser poster. Check it out after the jump!

"Vamps" stars Alicia and funny lady Krysten Ritter as two beautiful bloodsuckers living the good life in New York City. We'll let the official synopsis fill in the pieces:

As upstanding, politically correct Extended Life Forms (ELFs), the pair fit twelve-step "Sanguines Anonymous" meetings to help curb the temptation of human blood in between their clubbing and dating schedules. When love steals into each of their lives, the pair’s destiny is set on a new course and they must make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality—and maybe much more.

We're loving the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" vibe of this teaser and, of course, the cheeky tagline, "Nice Girls Suck." Here's hoping Amy can do for vampire movies what she did for teen comedies—serve up biting commentary that's oh-so fun to swallow.

"Vamps" is slated for a 2012 release.
