We are delighted to announce Hugh Bonneville, star of the award-winning ITV series Donwton Abbey, will open the 269th community-owned shop, Milland Stores, on Saturday 3rd December. The official opening is the culmination of two years’ work by the community, who have campaigned since October 2009 to bring the project to fruition. Not just a shop, Milland Stores will bring postal facilities, a café, internet access and emergency deliveries of groceries for the more vulnerable members of the community.
