Benedict Cumberbatch: Even More ‘Star Trek 2′ Set Photos Emerge, Including A Shot Of The IMAX Camera (DEN OF GEEKS)

Much like the ones released earlier, the set pics are taken from the filming of a fight scene involving Spock (Zachary Quinto), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), and the film’s still-unnamed villain played by British actor Benedict Cumberbatch. In the sixth picture, in addition to Quinto and Cumberbatch with their stunt doubles you can clearly see the IMAX camera being used to capture the action.

Cumberbatch (I’m going to keep typing that name so it is forever burned onto my brain and I don’t spell it CumberPATCH anymore) doesn’t appear to be wearing any make-up or prosthetics, so it’s possible his character is human, or maybe one of those humanoid aliens that used to pop in those cheapie 1950′s sci-fi B-movies. He’s definitely wearing a Starfleet uniform.
