Elizabeth was accompanied by her husband Simon Curtis, who directed My Week With Marilyn, which is up for Best British Film.
And she and Joanne were joined by Jessica Brown Findlay, who plays Elizabeth's on-screen daughter Lady Sybil, and also wore a long black dress and carried a Jimmy Choo bag like her co-stars.
And it proved to be a glamorous night worthy of the blonde bombshell herself with some of the biggest names in British film gracing their red carpet with their stunning presence.
