The Beatles’ Sons to form a Band? APRIL 8, 2012 (THE SILVER TONGUE) BY SIOBHAN SCARLETT

The sons of The Beatles’ are forming a band, according to reports.

In an interview with the BBC, Paul McCartney’s son James said he and the rest of the offspring of his former group could pay tribute to their dads by becoming this second-generation embodiment of the band.

James, who has previously released music in his solo career, quotes that he had discussed working with Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison, but it appears that Ringo Starr’s son, Zak Starkey, isn’t too keen on the idea.

When James was asked about this, he replied: “ I don’t think it’s something that Zak wants to do. Maybe Jason [drummer and one of Starr's other sons] would want to do it. I’d be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I’d be happy to do it.”
