You know something special is about to go down when Hugh Laurie appears on camera to talk directly to his fans about the final episode of House and the near imminent end to the show’s eight-season run. Just to be clear, the video below features Laurie as himself, not the grumpy, medical genius he’s famous for portraying. You can immediately tell he’s not acting because you can hear his delightful English accent. I could listen to that voice all day. Unfortunately, the video is short and mostly to the point: reminding us that House is ending and sooner or later we are going to have to say goodbye, but not before creating some memories of all the good times we’ve had with the show.
