Carey Mulligan married her beau Marcus Mumford in a quiet wedding this weekend at a farm in Somerset, but the couple involved a couple of very special guests that included Colin Firth and Adele.
According to reports stars on the guestlist included Sienna Miller and Jake Gyllenhaal who were there to see the couple tie the knot on Saturday (April 21).
The Oscar-winning actor delivered his speech at the couple's reception, after becoming quite close to Carey during the 2010 awards season when both had been nominated for a host of prizes. Colin, for his role in 'A Single Man' and Carey for 'An Education'.
A source told The Sun: "She thought it would be funny to have the actor address the room. Unlike his character in 'The King's Speech', Colin was a pro at the speech. He was his charming self and had the room in fits."
