Jonny Lee Miller has revealed that he has spoken with Benedict Cumberbatch about the CBS Sherlock Holmes adaptation Elementary, and claimed that his friend was "very supportive" of the project.
Miller and CBS's Elementary has had a mixed response since it was announced earlier this year, with many critics arguing that it will not match the recent BBC reboot of the Conan Doyle stories.
Speaking at San Diego's Comic-Con about the pressure on the show, Miller told fans: "The fact that there have been so many interpretations over the years actually takes the pressure off.
