'Downton Abbey' young female stars 'lured by Hollywood offers' Published Monday, Aug 6 2012, 5:48am EDT | By Alex Fletcher (DIGITAL SPY)
Downton Abbey producers are reportedly concerned that the show's success in the US will make it impossible for them to keep the younger cast members beyond the upcoming third series.
Breakout stars such as Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Jessica Brown Findlay and Joanne Froggatt have all had movie offers following the award-winning success of the British period drama, according to The Mirror.
Sources have told the tabloid newspaper that the young female cast members "know they can achieve more money" by leaving the show to work in films.
