Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley hark back to the 1940s in The Imitation Game

THEY are two of Britain's most successful actors, so it was only a matter of time before Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley were cast in the same film again.

The pair - who also starred in Atonement together - were spotted filming scenes for The Imitation Game in Hertfordshire earlier this week, and both sported a new look for their characters, who live in Second World War Britain. 37-year-old Benedict looked his usual smart self in the scenes, dressed in a woollen suit jacket and a pair of pinstriped trousers. He held a brown briefcase in his hand and wore his hair in a slicked down side parting - a far cry from the curly-haired Sherlock Holmes style we're used to. The star portrays Alan Turing in the upcoming film, a real-life mathematician who helped crack the enigma code during the war against Nazi Germany.
