Spotted: Emily Blunt arrested for “Arthur Newman”
As we reported, Emily Blunt and Colin Firth filmed scenes for their new movie, Arthur Newman, Golf Pro, on Lake Park Blvd in Carolina Beach, NC Friday, and from the looks of it, Emily’s character may have gotten herself into a bit of hot water during the shoot.
The movie is about two people, Mike (Blunt) and Arthur (Firth) who move into an abandoned house together while trying to escape their pasts.
In Friday night’s scene Blunt got involved in a car chase with the police, before being stopped by a spike strip, and is arrested. Apparently she forgot to put the car in park during one take and it started rolling as the “cop” was pulling her out of the car.
