Orlando Bloom Calls The Hobbit 'Family Reunion

FEMALE FIRST

Orlando Bloom has described shooting The Hobbit as a 'family reunion'.

The actor has returned to New Zealand to reprise the role of Legolas in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

And Bloom will not be the only family face back in Middle Earth as Ian McKellan, Andy Serkis and Cate Blanchett will also be returning.

Speaking to Digital Spy the actor said: "It's great, it's like going back to a family reunion.
"I shouldn't really talk too much about it... I will tell you that it's a pretty remarkable thing that's going on down there."

Martin Freeman will lead the cast as Bilbo Baggins with a whole host of British actors including Richard Armitage and James Nesbitt on the cast list.

But Bloom is back on the big screen this week as he takes on the role of The Duke of Buckingham in Paul W.S. Anderson's new version of The Three Musketeers.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released on December 14, 2012.
