SEAN BEAN
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Sometimes when you’re doing red carpet the bigger name stars won’t show up until close to show time. As a result, they won’t be able to hit every single outlet. Most often this means that a given writer/actor/director will just leave in the middle of the line. Even though we had better placement than most online outlets, this is pretty much what happened with Bean. However, his publicist was kind enough to invite the last few journalists after his cutoff to do a group interview. The folks on both sides of us were TV channels that could not use footage of us asking Bean questions, so we chose to remain silent and make the video useable for everyone. Generally, Collider won’t post content where we are not doing the interview ourselves, but given the circumstances we decided that this was fair.
- 00:00 – 00:48 Bean discusses Stark’s death scene and how it was a good send off for the character, allowing him some level of redemption.
- 00:48 – 1:04 Bean talks about his role in Snow White and what it was like to be Julia Roberts’ husband.
- 1:10 – 1:30 Bean explains why he doesn’t write acceptance speeches.
- 1:30 – 2:10 Bean expresses his mixed feelings on starring in such a successful show and knowing that he isn’t part of it anymore. He also floats the possibility of flashbacks.
- 2:10 – 2:32 Bean admits that he is terrified of reporters.
