Three Musketeers

The movie The Three Musketeers opened last weekend, Friday the 21^st, starring: Matthew Macfadyen, Logan Lerman, Ray Stevenson, Milla Jovovich, and Luke Evans. This movie opened up with $8,800,000 this passed weekend and came in fourth according to Box Office reviews.

The movie opens up with a short history of how France’s throne is now occupied by a boy, Louis XIII, but the real rule comes from Cardinal Richelieu. Under Louis’ orders, he appoints men, his Musketeers, to defend France. After a failed mission, they are no longer recognized as important men. A hotheaded young boy, D’Artagnan, goes to France in hopes of joining the Musketeers. While there, the Musketeers join together once again to purge France of the people who threaten to overthrow the young King.

This movie is filled with action packed scenes and just the right amount of romance. Appropriate for adults and teens, this movie gets a solid 8 out of 10!
