House most popular program on TV Princeton-set drama makes Guinness World Record Written by Laura Martin Staff Writer, (APP.COM)
The brutally honest, antisocial and often controversial doctor known as “House” has put New Jersey on the entire world’s radar. The Fox show, set in Princeton, is the “most popular program currently on TV” worldwide, according to the 2012 Guinness World Records.
“House” is watched by 81.8 million people in 66 countries, beating out crime drama “CSI: Miami,” which has a viewership of 73.8 million. The show is in its eighth season, which producers have announced will be its last.
